Author names in the BIBL search request

In the BIBL search form, use the exact author names (case sensitive).
If you specify an invalid author name (a name which does not have an exact match), the nearest alphabetic match will be used.
The format of the author names is: <Last_name><space><Initials>
(without any brackets or commas). Examples:

Kramida A.E.            ("Kramida" will work OK)
Ryabtsev A.N.           ("Ryab" will work OK)
Wyart J.-F.             ("Wya" will work OK)
Radziemski Jr. L.J.
Froese Fischer C.
De Castro Faria N.V.    ("De Cast" is OK)
De Castro S.G.C.        ("De Castro S" is necessary)

Note that there are no spaces between letters in the initials.

You can read the complete list of available author names with addresses (500 Kbytes) if you click here.

Some author names can have synonims in the database, e.g. Aglitskiy Y. who spelled Aglitsky E.V. before he emigrated from Russia to U.S.; another example is Kramida A.E. and his Russian spelling: Крамида А.Е. (we are sorry if your system does not have the support for Cyrillic symbols; in this case please ignore them and look for the English translation which ought to be available). The search session will pick up all papers of the author you have specified and all his synonims as well.

To restrict the scope of searched papers, you can specify one or more co-authors, using comma as a delimiter between author names. The names you specify will be combined using the logical AND operand, just like any other entry in the search request form, except for the multiple lines in the search-by-ions table.

The search results will include all papers where the specified person is a co-author, regardless of whether he(she) is the first author or not.
